How to use it
Get the most out of it

Lay it flat
Set the strop on the counter, leather side up.

Spine first
Hold the blade almost flat and draw it away from the edge, spine leading.

Alternate sides
Five to ten strokes per side, turning the knife each stroke.

Repeat as needed
After every sharpening, or whenever the edge feels less smooth.

Do I still need a whetstone?
Yes. The strop polishes an edge, it does not create one. Sharpen on the whetstone, then finish on the strop.
Can I send it as a gift?
Yes. Every order arrives in the Sekeen box with tissue and a care card, so no wrapping is needed. Add a gift note at checkout.
What if I want to return it?
If it arrives damaged or faulty, we replace or refund it free. An unused item in its sealed box can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Engraved knives cannot be returned unless faulty. Email info@sekeen.com to start.
