Scorpion Utility Knife 6 inch
2,950 EGP
The natural second knife. When the chef knife feels too big, the 6 inch utility knife takes over: trimming, peeling fruit, slicing sandwiches and cheese.
It shares the Scorpion handle of maple wood set in resin, and a Damascus blade with a pattern all its own. It arrives sharp, in the Sekeen gift box with a care card.
- Damascus steel with its own one of one pattern
- Handy 6 inch blade for the small jobs
- Maple wood and resin handle
- Comes in the Sekeen gift box with a care card

Pairs well with this knife
One of one pattern
Layered Damascus steel means no two blades look the same. This one is yours alone.
Sharp from day one
Sharpened before it leaves us, so it cuts cleanly from your first onion.
Balanced in the hand
The weight sits where blade meets handle, so long prep feels lighter.
Ready to give
Sekeen gift box, tissue and a care card. No wrapping needed.
What it does best
The natural second knife.
Fat and skin off chicken and meat, close and clean.
Apples, mangoes and citrus, peeled and sliced.
Through soft bread and fillings without squashing.
Neat slices and cubes of firm cheese.
Not for: Bones, frozen food, or glass and stone boards. For bones, use the Butcher Knife.

Care
Four habits keep it sharp for years
Damascus rewards a little care. These steps take less than a minute a day.
1
Wash by hand
Warm water and a little soap. Never the dishwasher.
2
Dry right away
Wipe the blade dry before you put it away.
3
Hone every week
A few strokes on the honing rod keep the edge straight.
Ocean Pearl Honing Rod · 1,800 EGP4
Sharpen every few months
When honing stops helping, use the whetstone or send it to us.
Whetstone · 1,400 EGPIs this real Damascus steel?
Yes. The blade is made of many layers of steel forged around a hard core. That layering is what creates the pattern you see.
Will the pattern fade or wash off?
No. The pattern comes from the layers of steel themselves, not from a print or coating. Washing by hand and drying right away keeps it crisp.
Will my knife look exactly like the photos?
Close, but not exactly. Every blade is one of one, so the pattern and handle on yours will differ slightly from the photos. That is the point.
Can it go in the dishwasher?
No. Wash it by hand with warm water and a little soap, then dry it right away. The dishwasher dulls the edge and can damage the handle.
How often should I sharpen it?
Hone it every week with a few strokes on a honing rod. Sharpen it every few months, when honing stops helping, on a whetstone or with our resharpening service.
Can I use it on bones or frozen food?
No. Bones and frozen food can chip a fine edge. For bones and heavy meat work, use the Butcher Knife.
Can I send it as a gift?
Yes. Every order arrives in the Sekeen box with tissue and a care card, so no wrapping is needed. Add a gift note at checkout.
What if I want to return it?
If it arrives damaged or faulty, we replace or refund it free. An unused item in its sealed box can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Engraved knives cannot be returned unless faulty. Email info@sekeen.com to start.
