Black Shark Butcher Knife 10 inch
4,500 EGP
For the days meat is on the menu. The 10 inch blade has the length and strength to break down chicken, trim lamb and beef, and portion large cuts at home.
The black G10 handle is tough and grippy, even with wet hands, and the Damascus blade carries its own one of one pattern. It arrives sharp, in the Sekeen gift box with a care card.

Pairs well with this knife
One of one pattern
Layered Damascus steel means no two blades look the same. This one is yours alone.
Sharp from day one
Sharpened before it leaves us, so it cuts cleanly from your first onion.
Balanced in the hand
The weight sits where blade meets handle, so long prep feels lighter.
Ready to give
Sekeen gift box, tissue and a care card. No wrapping needed.
What it does best
Built for meat and poultry.
Whole chickens broken down into pieces.
Fat and silver skin off beef and lamb.
Large cuts into steaks, cubes and roasts.
Through joints and cartilage, where the meat separates.
Not for: Thick or frozen bones, or glass and stone boards. It cuts through joints, not through heavy bone.

Care
Four habits keep it sharp for years
Damascus rewards a little care. These steps take less than a minute a day.
1
Wash by hand
Warm water and a little soap. Never the dishwasher.
2
Dry right away
Wipe the blade dry before you put it away.
3
Hone every week
A few strokes on the honing rod keep the edge straight.

Is this real Damascus steel?
Yes. The blade is made of many layers of steel forged around a hard core. That layering is what creates the pattern you see.
Will the pattern fade or wash off?
No. The pattern comes from the layers of steel themselves, not from a print or coating. Washing by hand and drying right away keeps it crisp.
Will my knife look exactly like the photos?
Close, but not exactly. Every blade is one of one, so the pattern and handle on yours will differ slightly from the photos. That is the point.
Can it go in the dishwasher?
No. Wash it by hand with warm water and a little soap, then dry it right away. The dishwasher dulls the edge and can damage the handle.
How often should I sharpen it?
Hone it every week with a few strokes on a honing rod. Sharpen it every few months, when honing stops helping, on a whetstone or with our resharpening service.
Can it cut through bones?
It cuts through joints and cartilage, which is how meat is broken down. It is not a cleaver, so do not chop through thick or frozen bones.
Can I send it as a gift?
Yes. Every order arrives in the Sekeen box with tissue and a care card, so no wrapping is needed. Add a gift note at checkout.
What if I want to return it?
If it arrives damaged or faulty, we replace or refund it free. An unused item in its sealed box can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Engraved knives cannot be returned unless faulty. Email info@sekeen.com to start.
