Your blade's Damascus pattern is unique, so it will differ slightly from these photos.
Damascus · Sujihiki knife
Red Shark Sujihiki 10 inch
4,500 EGP
A long, narrow Japanese slicer made for one job: clean slices in a single stroke. The 10 inch blade glides through roasts, grilled meat and fish without sawing, so every slice comes off smooth.
The handle is maple wood set in resin, and the Damascus blade carries its own one of one pattern. Pair it with the Dune Carving Fork to carve at the table. It arrives sharp, in the Sekeen gift box with a care card.

Pairs well with this knife
One of one pattern
Layered Damascus steel means no two blades look the same. This one is yours alone.
Sharp from day one
Sharpened before it leaves us, so it cuts cleanly from your first onion.
Balanced in the hand
The weight sits where blade meets handle, so long prep feels lighter.
Ready to give
Sekeen gift box, tissue and a care card. No wrapping needed.
What it does best
Long, clean slices.
Roast beef, lamb and turkey in thin, even slices.
Salmon and boneless fish without tearing the flesh.
Steak and chicken sliced cleanly after resting.
Carving at the table with the Dune Carving Fork.
Not for: Bones, frozen food, or glass and stone boards. For bones, use the Butcher Knife.

Care
Four habits keep it sharp for years
Damascus rewards a little care. These steps take less than a minute a day.
1
Wash by hand
Warm water and a little soap. Never the dishwasher.
2
Dry right away
Wipe the blade dry before you put it away.
3
Hone every week
A few strokes on the honing rod keep the edge straight.

Is this real Damascus steel?
Yes. The blade is made of many layers of steel forged around a hard core. That layering is what creates the pattern you see.
Will the pattern fade or wash off?
No. The pattern comes from the layers of steel themselves, not from a print or coating. Washing by hand and drying right away keeps it crisp.
Will my knife look exactly like the photos?
Close, but not exactly. Every blade is one of one, so the pattern and handle on yours will differ slightly from the photos. That is the point.
Can it go in the dishwasher?
No. Wash it by hand with warm water and a little soap, then dry it right away. The dishwasher dulls the edge and can damage the handle.
How often should I sharpen it?
Hone it every week with a few strokes on a honing rod. Sharpen it every few months, when honing stops helping, on a whetstone or with our resharpening service.
Can I use it on bones or frozen food?
No. Bones and frozen food can chip a fine edge. For bones and heavy meat work, use the Butcher Knife.
Can I send it as a gift?
Yes. Every order arrives in the Sekeen box with tissue and a care card, so no wrapping is needed. Add a gift note at checkout.
What if I want to return it?
If it arrives damaged or faulty, we replace or refund it free. An unused item in its sealed box can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Engraved knives cannot be returned unless faulty. Email info@sekeen.com to start.
